What pnpscore is

Free calculators that score you against the points grids that Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan publish: Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Nova Scotia publishes no grid, so for it there is an eligibility check instead.

A tracker of Express Entry rounds and provincial draws, on the draws page.

Articles that read official data: draw records, published grids, job postings.

Why it exists

Provinces change their grids without notice. Many calculators keep scoring streams that have been retired. Every number here is read from the province's own document and dated.

How we verify

Each grid is encoded from the province's published page or PDF.

A real example: Ontario added an $80,000+ earnings band, worth 10 points, effective 5 October 2026. The check flagged it. The grid was re-verified on 12 October 2026, and Ontario's maximum rose from 130 to 132.

Draw records are read from each province's own page. Express Entry rounds are read from IRCC's published rounds file. Every dated check and article is listed on What changed.

Editorial rules

If you find a mistake, tell us at Contact. A corrected page shows its updated date, and the fix is listed on What changed.

Not financial or immigration advice

We aren't licensed advisors, and none of this accounts for your situation. Fees, rates and government thresholds move — treat every number here as a mechanism to understand, not a figure to rely on, and check it at the source before it costs you something.

Official sources

Two governments own two halves of this. The province scores you and nominates; only IRCC can grant permanent residence. Nothing on this site is official — where it disagrees with the pages below, they are right and this is wrong.

IRCC

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Owns Express Entry, the CRS, and granting permanent residence. It does not publish provincial points grids.
