What this is not
These are Job Bank postings, not the Canadian labour market. Job Bank carries what employers choose to post there plus feeds from partner job boards. It also over-represents roles tied to an LMIA, because advertising on Job Bank is a condition of that process. Treat it as one large government-run sample with a known lean — never as total job vacancies. For vacancies, the measure is Statistics Canada's Job Vacancy and Wage Survey.
A posting is not a job offer, and a job offer is not eligibility. Volume in your occupation tells you where employers were advertising. It says nothing about whether a province will nominate you, and nothing about whether you qualify — score yourself against the grid for that.
The median wage is hourly-advertised only. Postings quoting an annual salary are excluded rather than converted, because mixing the two produces a number that describes neither. It is the advertised minimum, not what anyone was paid.
This is a monthly snapshot, not a live feed. The federal dataset publishes once a month and carries no CORS header, so this page cannot refresh in your browser the way the draws page does. The month and the retrieval date are stamped above so you always know which one you are reading.
